The Q-Switched Nd:YAG Dual Laser is a cornerstone technology at Skin Experts Polyclinic, Dubai and The Skin Clinic Beirut, used for targeted treatment of pigmentation, tattoos, and skin rejuvenation with minimal risk to surrounding tissue.

This state-of-the-art laser delivers ultra-short, high-intensity pulses in nanoseconds, selectively fragmenting pigment particles while preserving healthy skin. The dual wavelengths (1064 nm and 532 nm) allow treatment of pigment at different depths and colors, making it one of the most versatile and reliable laser systems in medical dermatology.

Who is a Good Candidate?

Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser is suitable for patients seeking non-invasive treatment of pigmentation, tattoos, or overall skin revitalization. It is not recommended during tanning, or for

suspicious pigmented lesions. A thorough dermatological consultation is essential to confirm suitability and rule out contraindications.

Our Experience

Dr Touma and his team of expert dermatologists, at Skin Experts Polyclinic in Dubai and The Skin Clinic Beirut, have extensive experience using Q-Switched Nd:YAG technology for complex pigmentation cases and tattoo removal. Treatments are customized based on skin type, pigment depth, and clinical indication to ensure optimal safety and results.

Dr Touma has treated hundreds of complex pigmented lesions effectively and safely using this Laser, making him a reference for many of his colleagues. He and his team often combine Q switched lasers with oral tranexamic acid for melasma, and fractional ablative lasers for tattoos, for faster and more sustained results.

The congenital melanocytic nevus treatment initiative
Dr Touma and his colleagues at The Skin Clinic have launched a campaign to treat kids suffering from facial or neck congenital melanocytic nevus, and whose parents can’t afford treatment costs, for free.
