Red Light

Red Light Therapy is a non-invasive light-based treatment that uses specific wavelengths of red light to support cellular activity. It may be used as part of skin rejuvenation and hair maintenance protocols.

For the skin, red light therapy may support collagen production and skin quality. In hair care, it may be used as an adjunct to medical hair-loss and restoration treatments, with the aim of supporting hair follicle activity and the hair growth cycle.

Clinical-grade red light devices can be administered in approximately 20-minute sessions, twice weekly, depending on the treatment protocol. At-home devices are also available, but treatment in a clinical setting allows for physician-directed protocols and consistent treatment parameters.

Red Light Therapy is generally well tolerated and does not typically require significant downtime. Its suitability and treatment schedule are determined according to the patient’s skin or hair concerns and overall treatment plan.
