Laser-Based Vaginal Treatment with IntimaLase®

Women’s intimate health can change with age, childbirth, hormonal changes, and other factors. Concerns may include changes in vaginal tissue, pelvic support, intimate comfort, or urinary symptoms. These concerns can be sensitive to discuss, and treatment should begin with an appropriate clinical assessment.

At Dr. Dany Touma’s clinics, laser-based treatments such as IntimaLase® may be considered for selected patients with concerns related to vaginal tissue laxity. IntimaLase® uses Er laser technology to deliver controlled energy to the vaginal tissue, with the aim of supporting collagen remodelling and tissue changes.

For patients experiencing vaginal relaxation or urinary incontinence, Dr. Touma may refer patients to experienced gynecologists for further assessment and management, particularly when a gynecological or pelvic-floor evaluation is indicated.

IncontiLase® is an Er:Yag laser-based treatment designed to address selected urinary incontinence concerns by treating the anterior vaginal wall. Its suitability depends on the underlying cause and the individual patient’s clinical assessment.

Treatment protocols, including the number of sessions, are determined according to the patient’s condition and the treatment indication. Patients are provided with appropriate information regarding expected treatment response, potential risks, and any recommended post-treatment care.

All intimate health consultations and treatments are conducted with appropriate medical privacy and discretion.
