Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy refers to the direct injection of a treatment into the target tissue. In dermatology, mesotherapy is used to rejuvenate the skin and restore its glow, to treat hair loss, or to remove fat.

The best use for Mesotherapy is in skin rejuvenation. The procedure was initially done in series of weekly superficial injections of cocktails of vitamins and essential minerals, using a gun or directly with a needle, and resulted in minimal change.

Today mesotherapy entails using hyaluronic acid to fill-in and rehydrate fine lines and uneven texture with the tip of a very small needle. It has become an essential and painless modality in skin rejuvenation of the face, neck and decollete area. The procedure takes about 15 minutes, is sometimes combined with ultrasonic mesotherapy, and patients are very pleased with the glow, reduction of lines and velvety texture of the skin. There are no marks after the procedure. Results are seen immediately, and the glow effect is seen for several weeks after one session, and lasts a lot longer after several sessions. Dr Touma uses the highest quality hyaluronic-acid based mesotherapy, he delivers the meso using a superficial microneedling technique that leaves the skin hydrated and glowing for weeks, without any bruising, making this mesotherapy technique very desirable shortly before a big event.
